WARNING! This is really old crap that I wrote back when I was messed up (lol). Why am I posting this? Not sure, my assumption is that people can compare this blah to my more recent stuff. I guess to show I've improved? Well, whatever. I'd say enjoy but I don't think that's possible...so...er...try not to puke :D
Without a reflection to look at
Without a heartbeat to listen to
Without a path to follow
A numb wandering to nowhere
Just fable nothing
A taunting song bids me to be in high spirits
I smirk and walk along, not wanting to find anything
I am a flower that wants to stay closed
In my sweet insanity
Somehow, I like feeling hurt
Somewhere, somehow, I know happiness will come, yet I push it away
Sweet serenity out of solitude
Bitter happiness, inverted feelings
Understanding pain, no knowledge of pleasure
Askew corridors and bitter truth, I feel a vain nothingness deep inside
A flower that wants to stay closed
In its sweet insanity
With numb feelings and mixed thoughts
Its all just a crazy mess in my head
Without a reflection to look at
Without a heartbeat to listen to
Without a path to follow
A numb wandering to nowhere
Just fable nothing
Where is everything headed?
An answer no one knows
Lifes meaning fades away with the darkness
As peoples thoughts stray, deception weaves its web
So easy for it to weave a maze, yet
I have no desire to break the maze
Im just a flower that wants to stay closed
Ah, my inverted feelings so sweet
Without a reflection to look at
Without a heartbeat to listen to
Without a path to follow
A numb wandering to nowhere
Just fable nothing
A silent smile as I realize
Nothings real anymore
Nothings real at all
Because I choose for it to be
